Here are some pictures from our puppy get-together on Harley's birthday! Matt and Ashlyn brought their dog, Snickers, and Meg brought over Tegan. Some of you may think we're crazy after this blog post, but we had fun celebrating Harley's 1st birthday. We love having parties, and come'on... how many times do you turn 1?
Harley got a turtle toy from us which she immediately began work on destroying.
Snickers brought her over a bone.... thanks Snicks!
Yes, I made a dog cake... :) The recipe is below.
I think it was a hit!
Tegan was the first one done. She was quick to take what the other dogs were taking too long to eat, so she got 2 pieces. :)
Snickers liked it too! 
Of course we had cupcakes for the humans too.Peanut Butter Delight Dog Cake
1 cup white or whole wheat flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 cup shredded carrots
1 tsp vanilla
1/3 cup honey
1 egg
1 tub non-fat plain yogurt
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°F. Mix together flour and baking soda. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Pour into a ring mold sprayed with a nonstick spray and bake for 40 minutes. Cool completely and frost with non-fat plain yogurt.
